Who we are, and what this policy covers
Wellness Beauty Warehouse (WBW) sells professional salon, spa and wellness equipment from Sharjah Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what we do with personal data that reaches us through this website, whether you are browsing the catalogue, ordering as a guest, ordering with an account, or sending us a message.
You can reach us about anything in this policy by email at wbwarehouses@gmail.com or by phone on +971 56 494 7977.
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
What we collect, and why
To place an order we need your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. We use the address to deliver, the phone number because freight items are delivered by arrangement rather than left at a door, and the email address to confirm the order and contact you about it. This is the same whether you order as a guest or with an account.
If you register an account we also store a password. It is held as a hash: a scrambled value that can be checked against what you type but cannot be turned back into the password itself. No one at WBW can read it.
We keep your order history: the items, the prices, the delivery address and the status of each order. That is our record of the sale. We use it to fulfil the order, to answer questions about equipment you bought and to settle any dispute.
Messages sent through the contact form are stored along with the name and email address you give, so that we can reply and refer back to what was said. We do not ask for anything beyond what is listed here. We do not collect dates of birth, identity documents or bank account details.
Card payments, and your card details
Card payments are handled by Mamo, an external payment provider. When you pay by card you are taken to a payment page hosted by Mamo, you enter your card details there, and Mamo tells us only whether the payment succeeded. Your card number, expiry date and security code never pass through this website and are never stored on our systems.
There is no save-card option. Nothing is retained for a future purchase, so card details are entered fresh each time you pay.
What you enter on Mamo's page is handled by Mamo under its own privacy policy.
If you choose Cash on Delivery, no card details exist at any point. You settle the payment directly when the order is delivered.
Who we share your data with, and where it is held
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone so that they can market to you.
Your data reaches three kinds of recipient, and each gets only what it needs. Mamo receives the payment details you enter on its page, plus the amount and a reference for the order. The company delivering your order receives your name, delivery address and phone number, because a freight consignment cannot be delivered without them. Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosts our website and database, so your data sits on infrastructure that AWS operates.
Because these providers operate internationally, your personal data may be stored or processed outside the United Arab Emirates and outside the country you order from. Wherever it is processed, it is used only to run the shop, take payment and deliver your order.
We will also disclose data where we are legally required to, for example to a court, a regulator or a law enforcement authority in the United Arab Emirates. We would disclose only what the request covers.
Cookies, and what your browser stores
The cookies on this site are essential ones only. They keep your session running and keep you signed in if you have an account. There is no consent banner because there is nothing optional to consent to: switching these off would stop you signing in or completing checkout.
Your basket and your wishlist are not held on our servers. They live in your own browser, in localStorage, on the device you are using. They do not follow you to another device, and clearing your browser storage clears them.
There are no analytics and no advertising trackers on this site. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third party scripts watching what you look at. We do not build advertising audiences, we do not profile you, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
How long we keep your data
Order records are kept for as long as we need them: for our own accounts, to answer questions about equipment you bought, and to settle any dispute that is still open.
Account details are kept while the account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it. Where a sale has already happened we keep the minimum record of that order, because our accounts require it, and we tell you what we are keeping.
Contact form messages are kept while the conversation is still useful and are deleted on request.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, and ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop emailing you about anything other than an order you have placed.
To make a request, email wbwarehouses@gmail.com from the address on your order or account, or call +971 56 494 7977, and tell us what you want done. If a request comes from an address or number we cannot match to an order or an account, we will ask for something that connects you to it, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.
We deal with requests as quickly as we can.
One limit is worth stating plainly: we cannot delete the record of a sale that has already taken place while we still need it for our accounts or for an unresolved dispute. Everything else can go.
Children's data
This is a shop for professional equipment, sold to businesses and to adults. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
If you believe a child has given us personal data, email wbwarehouses@gmail.com and we will delete it.
