Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is not included in the prices on this site. It is quoted for each order individually, after you order and before anything is dispatched.

What the price includes

Every price on this site is in US dollars and covers the goods only. Shipping is not included, and it is not calculated at checkout. The shipping and tax lines on your order confirmation will show 0.00. That is not a discount and it is not free shipping: it means the figure has not been worked out yet.

There is no free shipping threshold at WBW, at any order value. If you saw that claim on this site before, it was wrong and it has been removed.

The reason is the catalogue itself. It runs from a $1.50 consumable to a $9,850 salon bed, and a large part of it is furniture that ships on a pallet and weighs several hundred kilograms. No single rate table covers both, so carriage is quoted per order rather than guessed at automatically.

How the shipping cost is agreed

Place your order as normal, as a guest or from an account. It records the goods, the bulk discount if it applies, and your delivery address, and it does not commit you to a shipping charge, because none has been set at that point. If you chose card payment and do not complete it, the order is cancelled automatically after 60 minutes and the stock goes back on sale. Cash on delivery orders are not cancelled automatically.

We then work out carriage for your specific order: what you have bought, where it is going, and how it has to travel. We contact you with that figure, by email or phone, before anything leaves us. Nothing is dispatched until you have the cost and have agreed to it. The charge is settled separately from your online order: the site cannot add it to an order that has already been placed.

If the figure does not work for you, you can cancel. You can cancel an order yourself while its status is pending or confirmed, from your account or by contacting us at wbwarehouses@gmail.com or +971 56 494 7977. If you have already paid by card, the site cannot issue a refund on its own: we arrange it with you directly.

The automatic 5% bulk discount applies when the total quantity on an order is more than 10 units. It applies to the goods, not to shipping. There is no discount code system on this site.

Shipping classes

Items travel in one of six ways. The class an item falls into decides how it is packed, who carries it, what the delivery looks like at your end, and what it costs. We confirm the class when we quote your order. We do not publish per item weights or carriage prices, because they depend on the destination and the route as much as on the item.

Small parcel covers consumables, accessories, small hand tools and spare parts: things a courier can carry and hand over at a door. Standard equipment covers boxed equipment that one or two people can handle without machinery, such as trolleys, steamers, lamps and smaller units. Both are usually delivered by courier and signed for in the ordinary way.

Freight covers salon and spa furniture and larger equipment: chairs, wash units, treatment couches and similar. It ships palletised or crated on a freight vehicle. Heavy freight covers the largest and heaviest items in the catalogue, including head spa beds and multi part furniture. It needs a vehicle that can reach your address and a way of getting the goods off it, which is covered in the freight delivery section below.

Made to order covers items that are not held in stock and are built, finished or configured after your order is confirmed. They ship later than stock items. Quote required covers anything where carriage cannot be established from the order alone: unusual destinations, difficult access, very large or fragile equipment, or several classes on one order. In those cases we come back to you for more detail before we can give a figure.

Lead times

We do not publish a delivery time and we do not promise a delivery date. A small parcel to a UAE address and a made to order bed going overseas are not comparable, and stating a single figure for both would be a number invented for the sake of having one.

Your lead time depends on several things: whether the item is in stock or made to order, its shipping class, the destination and the route, customs clearance where it applies, and how quickly the shipping cost is agreed. That last one matters: preparation starts once carriage is settled, not when the order is placed.

If your delivery is tied to a fixed date (a salon opening, a refit, an inspection), tell us before you order. We will tell you in writing what is realistic for that item, and you can decide with that in front of you. We would rather lose the order than take it on a date we cannot stand behind.

International delivery, duties and import taxes

We ship from Sharjah Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates, within the UAE and internationally. Some destinations we cannot serve, or cannot serve for a particular item. If yours is one of them we will tell you when we quote, and you can cancel the order.

Prices on the site are US dollars for the goods. They exclude customs duty, import VAT or sales tax, clearance and brokerage fees, port and handling charges, and anything else your country levies on the shipment. Those are payable by you, in addition to the carriage we quote, and usually direct to the carrier or the authority rather than to us. The site does not calculate tax on any order: the tax line is always 0.00.

You are the importer unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Any import permit, registration or approval your country requires for the equipment is your responsibility, and we cannot advise on it. Please check before you order: goods refused entry, held or abandoned at the destination are still your order, and the costs of that fall to you.

Customs clearance is outside our control. Time a shipment spends with customs or with a broker does not count within anything we have told you about preparation or transit.

Freight and heavy freight delivery

Freight delivery is kerbside. The vehicle brings the goods to the nearest point at your address that it can safely reach, usually the kerb or a loading bay, and the delivery ends there. It does not include carrying goods inside, upstairs or into a treatment room, unpacking, removing packaging, assembly, installation, or connection to power or water.

Access is yours to arrange and yours to tell us about before dispatch: narrow or restricted streets, weight or height limits, no loading bay, delivery windows imposed by a building or a mall, upper floors, lift dimensions, doorway and corridor widths. Measure the item against the route it has to take through your premises before you order. If the vehicle cannot reach the address, or the goods cannot be taken in when they arrive, the costs of waiting, storage, redelivery or return are yours.

You unload. Provide enough people and any lifting equipment the item needs, such as a forklift or a pallet truck. Do not assume the vehicle has a tail lift: if you need one, say so before we book, and we will price it into the quote where it can be arranged.

Someone must be there to receive the delivery: an adult who is authorised to check the goods and sign for them. If nobody is present, the carrier will normally attempt redelivery or return the shipment, and either is charged to you.

Inspect the goods and note damage before you sign

This is what decides whether a damaged item can be claimed for, so please take it seriously. Before you sign anything, count the packages against the delivery note and look over every one of them: crushed corners, punctures, water staining, a broken pallet, a tilt or shock indicator that has triggered.

If anything is damaged, missing or looks wrong, write it on the delivery note or proof of delivery before you sign, and be specific: which package, and what is wrong with it. A clean signature is the carrier's record that the goods arrived in good condition, and it is very hard to argue against afterwards. Carriers also set their own deadlines for damage claims, and they are short.

Photograph the packaging as it arrives, before you open it, and photograph the item as you unwrap it. Keep all packaging until you are sure the item is sound. Then contact us with your order number, the photographs and a copy of the annotated delivery note, as soon as you can and before you install or use the item.

There is no returns or refund function on this site, and nothing of this kind can be started from your account. Damage and shortages are handled by us directly, by email or phone, and the outcome is agreed with you case by case.
